Dice
Roll the dice against a target number. Higher targets = higher risk = higher reward.
How to Play
/dice <amount> <target>
You win if your roll is greater than the target. Target must be between 2 and 98.
Examples
/dice 100 50 → Bet 100, must roll over 50 (~49% win chance)
/dice 50 75 → Bet 50, must roll over 75 (~24% win chance)
/dice 200 25 → Bet 200, must roll over 25 (~73% win chance)
Rules
| Target Range | 2 to 98 |
| Roll Range | 0 to 99.99 |
| House Edge | 2% |
| Win Condition | Roll > Target |
How It Works
- You choose a target number (2-98)
- A provably fair roll generates a number from 0-99.99
- If your roll is greater than the target, you win!
- Lower targets = easier to win but lower payout
- Higher targets = harder to win but higher payout
Win Chance & Payout
Win chance and payout are determined by your target:
Win Chance = (99 - Target) / 100 × 98%
Payout Multiplier = 98 / (99 - Target)
Target Examples
| Target | Win Chance | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| 25 | ~72.5% | ~1.32x |
| 50 | ~48% | ~2x |
| 75 | ~23.5% | ~4.08x |
| 90 | ~8.8% | ~10.9x |
| 95 | ~3.9% | ~24.5x |
| 98 | ~0.98% | ~98x |
Example
Bet: 100 tokens with target 75
- You need to roll over 75 to win
- Win chance: ~23.5%
- Payout multiplier: ~4.08x
| Roll 82.45 (Win) | 408 tokens (+308 profit) |
| Roll 61.23 (Loss) | 0 tokens (-100) |
Strategy Tips
- Lower targets = more consistent wins, smaller payouts
- Higher targets = rare wins, massive payouts
- Target 50 gives approximately 2x payout at 48% odds
- The house edge is built into the payout calculation
Bet Limits
Higher potential payouts have lower maximum bets to protect the pool. The system automatically calculates your max bet based on your chosen target and the pool size.
