How to Play

Start a Game

/blackjack [amount]
/bj [amount]

During the Game

/hit       → Draw another card
/stand     → Keep your current hand
/double    → Double your bet and take exactly one more card

During the Game

Use the interactive buttons:

• 🃏 Hit — Draw another card
• ✋ Stand — Keep your current hand

Other Commands

/bjforfeit → Forfeit your current game (lose your bet)

Note: Game controls are now interactive buttons! No need to type commands during play.

Game Flow

1. Deal: You and dealer each get 2 cards. One dealer card is hidden.
2. Your Turn: Hit to draw cards, Stand to keep your hand
3. Dealer's Turn: Dealer reveals hidden card and must hit until 17+
4. Resolution: Closest to 21 without busting wins

Dealer Shows: 7♦

/hit → You draw 4♣, now have 19
/stand → Dealer reveals 10♠ (17), must stand
Result: You win! 19 beats 17

Strategy Tips

Basic Strategy

Key Tips

• Never bust if dealer might bust: If dealer shows 4-6, they're likely to bust
• Always stand on 17+: The risk of busting is too high
• Double on 10 or 11: When dealer shows weak cards
• Aces are flexible: A "soft" hand (with Ace as 11) is safer to hit

Cherry-Pick Protection

You can only have one active blackjack game at a time. This prevents:

• Starting multiple games and only playing favorable hands
• Abandoning bad hands without consequence

If you have an in-progress game:

• Starting a new game shows your existing hand with Resume/Forfeit options
• Use /bjforfeit to forfeit (lose your bet) and start fresh

Game Timeout

Games automatically forfeit after 10 minutes of inactivity to prevent funds from being locked indefinitely.
