Realm Chat
Chat with other players, send tips, and rain tokens in real time.
Overview
The Realm Chat is located in the right sidebar of the web app. It's a live chat room shared by all connected players.

Sending Messages
- Type your message in the input box at the bottom of the chat
- Press Enter or click the send button
- Your message appears immediately in the chat
You must be signed in to send messages.
Tipping
Send tokens to another player directly from their chat message.
How to Tip
- Hover over a message from another user
- Click the three-dot menu that appears on the right
- Click Send Tip
- Enter the amount you want to send
- Confirm the tip
The tip is sent from your selected token balance. A special tip message appears in the chat to confirm the transaction.
You can only tip other users, not yourself. You must have a token selected and sufficient balance.
Raining
Distribute tokens to multiple active chat participants at once.
How to Rain
- Click the crown icon at the bottom of the chat
- Enter the total amount to distribute
- Set the number of recipients
- Confirm the rain
The total amount is split evenly among the specified number of random active chatters. A rain announcement appears in the chat.
Emoji Picker
Click the smiley face icon next to the message input to open the emoji picker. Select any emoji to insert it into your message.
Chat Features
User Badges
Each message shows the sender's level badge, indicating their experience on the platform.
Timestamps
Messages show relative timestamps (e.g., "5m ago", "2h ago").
Online Indicator
The badge at the top of the chat shows the current number of online users and a live connection indicator.
Troubleshooting
Can't send messages?
- Make sure you're signed in (wallet connected and authenticated)
- Check your internet connection — the chat uses WebSocket for real-time updates
Messages not loading?
- Refresh the page
- The chat loads the most recent messages on connection
Tip failed?
- Verify you have sufficient balance in your selected token
- Make sure you've selected a token in the token selector
